Alyssa’s life started out rough from day one when she had a stroke maybe even before breathing her first breath. She endured numerous procedures, therapies, surgeries, treatments all to help her achieve even the simplest of tasks and  the best life possible over the past 28 years. Those were the worst of times. She was able to overcome cerebral palsy, failure to thrive, intellectual disabilities and epilepsy to impact her world. She loved life! She played Miracle League baseball, Sporting Chance bowling and track, Park Board swimming and bowling, Art Inspired actress, Hallmark movie junkie who kept her cell phone close at all times In case one of her boyfriends might have wanted to give her a call. She fiercely loved her family, being the big sister to some for a few days and a special few for the rest of her days.  Alyssa loved her caregivers, teachers, staff and volunteers who all become a special part of her daily life. Those days of advocating and loving on my girl daily have come to an end but now others want to help to celebrate her life. You can honor Alyssa by helping to fund her Celebration of Life.
