Honoring the Life and Legacy of Starrina Head

On 01/09 the world lost a bright and beautiful soul.  After a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer Starrina passed away at the hospital surrounded by her 4 young children, her mother and her brother.  

To know Starrina was to know pure kindness .  She was the glue that held her family together.  She was a devoted mother, selfless and loving to Koreon, Kamron, Remedi and Ronnie.  Even in her hardest moments she fought with grace and strength that inspired everyone who crossed her path.  She never let the her illness define her, instead she defined her journey through her unwavering faith, her laughter and her fierce love for her children.  

While we find comfort knowing that she is no longer in pain, the void left behind is immeasurable.  Her children are now facing a future that they never imaged.  As they navigate this profound grief, we want to surround them with the same community and support that Starr always extended to others.  

We have started this fund to ease financial burden that comes with such a devastating loss.  Our goal is to ensure that the family can focus on healing without the immediate pressure of remaining medical expenses, memorial service, daily essentials and the children's future.
