About this fundraiser

My dads home was in Tijuana México for years after his retirement. He was a proud citizen of the United States of America at his 40's.  His occupation was Tile Setter.  Life for him was hard in the beginning in US but he eventialy achieved his goals.  .

My dad lived happy and alone in Tijuana with his 2 dogs throughout the rest of his life. His monthly Social security benefits of $1,200 is not enough to support himself here in California.

As the months passed this year  his health was deteriorating rapidly from prostate cancer stage 4. And because of his condition he could nol ongercontinue his chemotherapy visits.

He had to sacrifice his chemotherapy appoints by driving accross the US border alone at 4am just to not be late for his chemo therapy appointments in Chula Vista, San Diego,Ca. & Sometimes two appointments back to back.

Him and I were making future plans to move in with me thru his final days feeling  he was going to die soon.  My father and I were very close,I loved him dearly despite him being my step father he was everythin to me. My dad was my mentor,my support,my friend,my Heart n soul. My defender, his loyalty n love for my family. Plants was his passion and his dogs.

He was planning to move in mid January next year 2024 but he came early because he was feeling worse everyday and needed medical attention my dad didn't want to die alone.

He arrived happily on Dec.10th. 2023 & passed on Dec.20th my birthday. The first day he came I took him to the er. And the next day he was discharged.  Dr'  could no longer save his life and was immediately put under hospice care with me.

I uploaded some recent photos of his condition Warning Vewer discretion is advised:

I was not prepared financially to bury him so he will be cremated soon.  The Funeral cost is close to $6,000.

My father deserves a decent Funeral Service even if its costing me to try to seek help.  Ive never asked for money to the public so I'll be grateful either way if I can get help. I can prove bank statements of his money he was receiving fom S.S..
