So, under these conditions, the insurance policy payout is in a pending phase, which means they have to do an investigation to prove she didn’t have knowledge of her illness prior to getting the insurance policy. In order for them to release her funds, which could take months, the investigation has to be completed. Fletcher Funeral Home does not accept contestable policies, which means we will not be able to move further with her arrangement until the full balance is paid out-of-pocket.
