About this fundraiser

Our momma was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma in April 2023. After going through 5 trio rounds of chemo therapy and 25 rounds of radiation, we thought we had * kicked the can down the road" as our momma would say. In December of 2023 our mom started having significant headaches, we did an earlier than scheduled scan only to show this horrible disease had spread to her brain. She had went through CyberKnife radiation treatments and monthly MRI's every since. In July her MRI showed the tumors were spreading, and had significantly increased in size. This has been our momma, little sister and me. We've been by her side every step of the way. Her fight has been our fight. She had no life insurance, or burial insurance. My sister and | work doing the best we can. Our mom was placed on Hospice on August 21, 2024 after her last and final MRI showed horrific changes which we knew as just within a week prior too we began losing our momma cognitively. These tumors had completely taken over, the swelling had actually caused so much pressure it was causing Our momma's brain to actually start shifting. Our mom was no longer able to remember who we were most days, required 24 hour care. As her daughters this was so devastating and heartbreaking to watch. Cancer has no mercy and was taking our momma before our very eyes. Our Aunt Kathy and Uncle Rudy has helped us so much during this and we'll forever be grateful to them as well as our Uncle David who also assisted in the care of our momma as they shared a home helping each for the last several years. Our mom is our everything and was our best friend. I'm not sure how we're going to make it in this world without her here with us. | know she's in a better place though with no more pain or suffering. We, as sisters are needing and asking for help for our momma, we are asking for donations to help with funeral/final expenses. All donations can be made directly to Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, Mo c/o Terri Hamilton Hunt
