I am raising funds to cover funeral expenses for the unexpected passing of my dad, Rosalio. He didn't have any life insurance policies and my family is struggling. My dad was admitted to the hospital on March 7th 2023 with double phenomena and from there things were an up and down battle. He started off really bad and ended up in ICU being on a ventilator. Everything was to the point where the doctor told us his lungs were so stiff that he wasn't getting any oxygen so they had to paralyzed his body and give him some kind of shot to help open his lungs, needless to say that medicine worked very temporarily as he would get better for a few days then turn around and get very sick again. After 3 months of being in the hospital he his kidneys started shutting down and he had to be put on dialysis and that's where things started getting a little worse. He went for his first day of dialysis and that night had a silent stroke that was not found until the following day when he had went back down to dialysis where he then had a seizure. A CT scan was done and that's when they saw he had a stroke from the night before, and worse bleeding in the brain. He was then moved back to ICU (he went back and forth between ICU and continue care) to monitor the bleed which kept getting worse over the course of 2-3 days. Once the bleed had stopped he had to remain in ICU due to his blood gases (CO2 in the blood) being none compatible with life. Dialysis helped them clean his blood and take the toxins out. Fast forward to about a week or two before his passing, his blood pressure started dropping down really low to where he was started on 2 medications to keep it up and even with that it was still really low. Three days before his passing he started having seizures everyday, one lasted 19 min ,1 min then 2 min. He was unable to receive dialysis due to his blood pressure and his body not handling it very well. Giving everything he has been through this go around and everything in the past we were really hopeful he would pull through however my father Rosalio passed away on July 25th 2023.
