Thankyou to everyone who has donated. It's been an extremely heartwarming blessing. With the combination of these donations and our family's we've been able to lay Dad to rest with honor. We intend to keep the donations page open if any more funds come through they will go towards his gravemarker.
Thankyou everyone for your kindness in and during this difficult time we've gone through and continue to go through.
My Dad had a love for people he enjoyed the company of family, loved ones and strangers. We all have our ups and downs and Charlie had his trials, nonetheless he forged on in love stubbornness and most importantly faith. If he could say one last thing- Well he wouldn't be able to only say one 😄 He would want you to know God loves you and you are loved. He would want you to experience the journey in having a relationship with God. When you fall it's ok, get back-up and try again those downfalls are what make you stronger. Enjoy the simple things in life and mend the brokenness in your relationships with the ones you call family and friends ❤️♥️💕

About this fundraiser

Charles Boyer our Dad loved to run and play baseball. He always felt younger than he was. Most people at his age were not as active. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and making them laugh. He valued family and the importance of life and love. He was a man of God. He fought through life's adversities. From losing his daughters(at an early age) , to a house fire. Then battling deficiencies and losing a son in 2021 and then 6 months later a granddaughter. Still rising above the challenges of life, he was faced with esophageal cancer. He battled it head on, through chemo and radiation; he was told he handled it the best for people his age. Instead of needing a wheelchair he stayed strong with the help of the Lord and walked in and out. He battled and conquered the cancer. Unfortunately, he had more to endure as he found himself with pain in his stomach. With the help of some family and friends, he
sought medical help. This would be the beginning of the end. He endured multiple surgeries. Where they put in tubes. They discover multiple masses throughout his body. He continued to fight. His body started losing weight, and there were struggling days. But his family encouraged him to keep fighting and his mind as sharp as ever; with the help of God, he pressed on. Fighting for his life. Come to find out, the cancer came back and spread throughout his body. It became to much, and though in his heart and mind he wanted to stay; his body began giving up. On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, God brought him home to heaven, and his suffering was no more. Please join us in helping to honor his wishes and giving him a proper burial he deserves. Thank you, and we appreciate all who took the time to read this and any who are willing and able to help.
