About this fundraiser

Dear Connections, Friends, and Family,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to all of you with a heartfelt request for support during a challenging time for our family.

In late December 2022, we tragically lost our beloved grandfather, a dedicated servant to his community, to COVID-19 during the pandemic. He was not just a cherished family member but also a dedicated contributor and philanthropist in his community in China. His life was defined by a heart of gold, always ready to help others and spread love and care.

After nearly a whole year of planning, we are now preparing for a funeral and burial in China in November 2023 to honor his remarkable legacy of community service. To ensure that this tribute is a fitting one, we are seeking your support. The funds raised will be primarily used for both the funeral and burial expenses in China, including service costs, arrangements, and honoring his memory in the way he truly deserves. Additionally, a portion of the funds will go towards covering the travel expenses from the USA to China, as well as other costs associated with this journey.

We understand that this is a significant request, but we believe that, in times like these, coming together as a community can truly make a difference. Your contributions, no matter the size, will help us pay our respects to a wonderful man who touched countless lives with his kindness and unwavering commitment to serving others.

If you are able and willing to support our cause, please consider making a donation. Your generosity will ensure that we can provide a dignified farewell for a person who meant the world to us and allow us to be present to honor his memory.

We are deeply grateful for your consideration and support during this difficult period. Your kindness will help us remember and honor the memory of a truly extraordinary soul who devoted his life to the betterment of his community.

Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Meixian L.
