Hello! I am reaching out to the community as I am in dire need of help in paying for one of my medications. 

Medication: Zepbound 10mg injection and the cost is $1,200 per month out of pocket. My commercial insurance through my job is no longer covering it. This is a GPL-1 weight loss medication.

I only have 2 weeks left of my medicine. I can't stop it abruptly because I can start to re-gain the weight back that I already lost, which will affect my health negatively. 
 

These type of weight loss medications have received a ‘bad wrap’ because many people misused the reason in getting them, causing the demands and prices to rise in which health insurance companies no longer want to pay for them. I am a prime candidate for this medicine because I need this medicine to help improve my health in certain areas, and essentially in helping to keep me alive! 

I am taking this medicine for weight loss because I have certain conditions that are very concerning. By losing more weight, I can get back down to a healthy weight and help get my numbers down to improve my health and life span.

I am a single mother and my kids need me here. I work full time and pay my own bills but this medicine I just cannot afford. There isn't an alternative and my body can't take another form.

Again, my request for needing this medication is not cosmetic, but for my health due to the life threatening medical conditions as follows; 

BMI of over 35
SVT in my heart
Enlarged heart on right side 
Asthma
Sleep Apnea
PAH in my lungs, group 3 
Hx of pre-diabetes  

Please help me pay for this medicine as I am working on getting better and healthier. Any assistance is appreciated!
