About this fundraiser

My son is graduating!! I couldn't be a more happy mother!

Over the years, it had an been quite the battle with most of his life being a single mother. Times were hard, but we always made it work. School for him wasn't something that came easy to him, as he struggles with ADHD on a sever level. Everyday was a battle and everyday, I was still so grateful to help him, and even more so, proud to be his mom. I never left his side. It would break my heart sometimes, thinking, I really hope he will graduate with all the bullies we had to deal with. I was always reminding him to keep pushing.

Keeping him on track, helping with homework and a VILLAGE that loved and accepted him, was immense.

He developed melanoma at 10, we, by the grace God, beat that battle, but this caused him to be behind. Catching up was quite the challenge.

This year, my boy will be graduating as an honor roll student. This, is where my tears began.he made it…we made it. I couldn't ever be more proud.

I'm starting this fundraiser because graduating is not only the best feeling for both parents and child, but stressful and very expensive.

I work 5 days a week with no state benefits and with no help from his father, I am scraping pennies. I WILL make sure he has everything he needs to celebrate such a journey.

I do not want to raise more than needed, in which, I am not aware of yet. However, I am asking for SOME help.

I will be getting a full page for him in his yearbook, $150, of course the yearbook $?, cap, gown & tassle $68, announcements $?, senior pictures $?, and heavens me, I know there's more.

As a mother, after working and getting paid, it's hard to buy groceries and other things as well. (I also have one other child). I have tried to save for this but unfortunately, I never seemed to keep anything in savings.

Please help me help him not miss out on anything that can make this perfect and exciting for him. I thank each and everyone of you in advance. ❤️🙏
