As a mother and wife, I am doing everything I can to provide a stable home for my family, but the cost of living especially rent in South Florida has made it incredibly difficult to stay afloat. My husband works hard every day, but no matter how many hours he puts in, his paycheck simply isn’t enough to cover the rising cost of rent, utilities, food, and the basic necessities we need to survive. We have tried everything cutting costs, budgeting tightly, and making sacrifices but every month feels like an uphill battle. The stress of trying to keep a roof over our child’s head is overwhelming, and despite our best efforts, we find ourselves in a constant state of worry.
