My friend Cathy is in urgent need of your help. 

On June 29, 2025, she was in a single vehicle accident going around a curve on a mountain, on the way to church. 

She lost control of her car and landed in the ditch.  Thankfully, no one was hurt. She has always been a very good driver, so we were both surprised when this happened.  As it turns out, the cause of the accident was found to be a broken front axle.  Her insurance company sent an adjuster to assess the damage.  He deemed it a total loss, as the car could not be repaired.  For this reason, she will receive a much lower amount to replace it, which is not enough to buy her a dependable used car. 

Cathy really needs to have a sensible, reliable, and safe vehicle.  She is a disabled senior, who receives a small amount each month from the SSA.  This doesn't allow her the ability to make car payments or to pay for expensive transportation.  Cathy lives far out in the country, far from cheaper modes of public transportation.  Her drive to church, which is very important to her, is on a rural highway with lots of switchback curves.  The winter can be treacherous also, so she really needs a safe and dependable vehicle.  Rest assured, she is a very responsible driver, who has always taken very good care of her cars. 

She has picked out a used car.  Cathy hopes to get this 2015 Honda CR-V LX with 114,612 miles on it.  I am asking for your generosity to enable her to get back on the road again.  She needs $10,000, in order to be able to buy it and pay other initial costs.  We both would so appreciate your help.
