I’m not one to usually put my business on social media. But I was asked how do I walk around with a smile on my face when I’m dealing with so much and I couldn’t give him an answer because I didn’t even know how to respond. With every thing going on I couldn’t even focus on my college work due to her health and work. Then I started thinking about how my mom walked around the same way and just made things happen. I owe it all to her and now it’s my turn so I have no choice but to try and stand strong. I’m the one usually doing the helping, not asking for help but this load I can’t handle on my own. My mom has colon cancer amongst other health issues. She is in the hospital right now as we speak on April 9th I had to go to court due to our apartment complex cutting off our access to our online payments after adding on almost $3000 out of nowhere that happened in November 2024 we asked multiple times after seeing the extra money added where it came from and Carla, who was in the office at the time told us that she will look into it. She never got back to Us. December comes and that’s when we’re locked out of the account. She says that we were being audited, which was not true and that the court already has our stuff in process when I asked if we could do a payment plan we did not fail to pay as they stated they never put notes on the door only notes they put on the door for pest control or them doing a walk-through. After going to court alone because my mom was in the hospital, she went that morning before 1am. Fast foward the judge stated that she did not feel right evicting somebody who is going through treatment then Eric Pettis the lawyer representing the apartment complex stated that I was on the lease so we should be fine. After saying he sympathizes for me because he had to go through the same before with a family member. Definitely a punch in the face. I felt like they got over on me because I didn’t have any legal council nor did I know my rights being that this is my first time in-this situation. This is a very vulnerable moment for me to ask for help but again this is something I can’t do alone being one of five kids I’ve been dealing with this for years by myself and I’m not even the oldest child. All I ask is if you can donate please do so even if it’s a dollar if not please share the campaign either one would be greatly appreciated. If you know of any resources that are able to help those are also welcome they gave us 14 days  which will be April 23 to come up with $10,000 which I feel is impossible. I don’t not want to see my mom on the streets especially in this condition knowing she will have to undergo another major surgery due to their mess ups.
