Hello everyone, we come to you in this devastating time of need. We are in need of help raising money for a very dear special friend of ours that is currently on his final journey here on Earth. Edward suffered is life with several health conditions to battle. Unfortunately, they caught up to him. He suffered a severe massive stroke that impacted both sides of his brain. He currently has no brain activity and is in a vegetative state. They took him off the ventilator and he is currently still breathing on his own with a very low breathing rate. He has been placed on hospice care at Harbor Grace hospice center in Atlanta. Edward was such a very nice, kind hearted , hilarious, intelligent man. He was always there for anyone in time of need. He absolutely loved his Dobermans. He loved Jesus Christ and his faith was Church of Christ. He definitely followed the faith strongly and spread the gospel. He was also a 12 yr US Air Force Reserves veteran. While serving, he was a medical nurse and quickly became manager of a military hospital. We met Edward around 15 yrs ago and have been friends since he and us both have considered each other as family. He listed us as next of kin and emergency contact ect. His wishes are to be cremated and buried with his mother in Florida. Unfortunately he doesn’t have much longer and is starting to decline. We are needing help raising money for his funeral expenses, renting a Uhaul truck to pack up his home and getting a storage building and hotel expenses, gas expenses to get back and forth from Alabama to Georgia as we help take care of him in his final days. We want to make sure his wishes are carried out in his honor. If anyone can please help donate towards his expenses to help honor him, we would greatly appreciate it. Since go fund me takes a few weeks to be able to get the funds and we are needing to hopefully raise the money this week to be able to pay the funeral home and rent the Uhaul ect. We are headed back to Georgia again tomorrow.
