Hello, my name is Corey Gahan, and I’m reaching out because I’m working hard to rebuild my life after years of struggling with addiction. This disease took a heavy toll on me — physically, emotionally, and spiritually — but I’m finally ready to take control and create a better future for myself.
For a long time, I was trapped in a cycle I couldn’t break. Addiction isolated me from the people I love and from the person I used to be. But I’ve reached a turning point. I’m committed to recovery, to honesty, and to becoming someone I can be proud of again.
I’ve learned that recovery isn’t something anyone can do alone. It takes support, stability, and a community that believes change is possible. I’m asking for help to cover essential costs like [you can fill in: sober living, treatment, counseling, transportation, or basic needs while getting back on my feet]. Every bit helps me move closer to a stable, sober, and meaningful life.
I’m not looking for sympathy — I’m looking for a chance. A chance to stay focused on my recovery, rebuild my strength, and one day help others who are fighting the same battle I’ve fought.
If you’ve ever believed in second chances, please consider supporting or sharing my story. Your kindness and belief mean more than words can say.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for believing that people like me can change — because I truly am.
With gratitude,
Corey Gahan
