About this fundraiser

Laurens Road to Recovery
Hi everyone,
My name is Lauren Sheely , and I'm an amputee. I lost my leg due to compartment syndrome. Recently, I became ill and was bedridden for three months. Unfortunately, this significant period of inactivity has resulted in a significant loss of muscle mass in my residual limb.
As a result, my current prosthetic socket no longer fits properly, causing discomfort and hindering my mobility. I urgently need a new, custom-fitted socket to ensure a secure and comfortable fit.
Furthermore, I require in-home physical therapy to regain strength, improve my balance, and learn to use my new prosthetic effectively.
Your generous support will directly contribute to:
* Funding a new prosthetic socket: This will allow me to regain my independence and mobility.
* Covering the costs of in-home physical therapy: This will help me regain my strength and confidence.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in my journey to recovery.
Thank you for your compassion and support.
