Hello, my family is dealing with a  unexpected medical emergency and I'm turning to our lovely community for some help. We're usually not ones to ask for help but it is urgent! My younger sister was flown out to Victoria at 30 weeks pregnant, all alone and had an emergency c section In the early hours of July 14th. Little Zelda was born 10 weeks and 1 day early! They have a long road to recovery ahead in Victoria. We don't have any family in that area and the Ronald McDonald House has a huge waitlist, my sister is being discharged today and they will have to sleep in there car. Which is unacceptable while she is still recovering from surgery ! Her partner was let go from his job just a few weeks ago and she is on disability so they do not have the funds to find somewhere to stay and the social worker is not able to find somewhere for them at this time .( The baby will be in Victoria for at least 2 months) we are asking for any and all help with funds to try and get accomodation for them to stay close to the baby and ease there stress at this time!
