We are A family with A 13 year old Autistic son and A 22 year old Mentally Handicapped son. We have traveled afar to see my wife's brother and he had passed away. Now we have found ourselves stuck here in Cobb county homeless and have had zero luck with any help at all. We have tirelessly been applying for work and have had had lots of interviews but none has stuck. Being 6 years clean and sober and fighting every day to keep strong is growing weaker every night we have to sleep on grass by the Cobb Parkway Walmart supermarket without tents and only 3 blankets. We want to ever sk to find out break through. We have had 3 weeks in a hotel but have found ourselves back to where we started. Our sons are strong young men and my wife is amazing standing beside me having to pan handle against her beliefs for food when we can not get a meal from churches. Not having a way to cook or open cans and uncooked foods we are forced to do what we hate just to get food for our boys. We are just asking the greatest people of GA to help us reach our goal so we can just go back to Alaska and become what we were when we left. Stringer and wiser. I thank God every day for my family and the people we have met here. This is an emergency and we need just as much as you can give because it all adds up quickly. God Bless!
