About this fundraiser

Helping to keep an individual with schizophrenia safe and off the streets. It is hard for an individual with schizophrenia or other mental illnesses to find housing, most landlords do not want to rent to people with schizophrenia mainly because of how hard it is to handle or deal with somebody with schizophrenia. This is why I am trying to raise money to help an individual with schizophrenia that is currently living on the streets find a safe home. Living on the streets is very unsafe for him because of his illness and the episodes that cause him to have outburst mostly he just screams to himself but there are times when people don't understand his illness and they react in a violent way towards him. So giving him stability in finding a good safe home for him is the best option therefore he can get on his medication regularly be able to feel safe in his own home and at the same time keeping his mental illness and schizophrenia contained away from the public and away from individuals who do not understand the illness in its entirety. If you know somebody that has mental illness or schizophrenia that is homeless then you know what I'm talking about.
