As a student athlete from a low-income family, I've faced many challenges in chasing my dreams. One of the biggest challenges is not being able to afford the incredible opportunities that come my way—like being accepted into Rice University’s Precollege Engineering program.
I am grateful to have been awarded a half scholarship, but the reduced fee is still financially burdensome for my family. I need your help to pay off this program fee, because it would be heartbreaking to be forced to give up this opportunity because of my financial situation.

My passion is Engineering. I have been preparing for a future in this field for years, and Rice’s program is a chance for me to make my interest a career.
