Happy holidays! My name is Ally, and I turned 41 on Nov 6th. In August, our lives were turned upside down. For over a month, I was admitted to two hospitals. At the second hospital, after extensive testing, I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and kidney failure. I am stage 4 renal failure and will be on dialysis until a kidney transplant is available.

I am struggling, as I'm sure most of us are, but anything will help. I was denied disability and food stamps, and I am not allowed to work currently. I have a gorgeous 15-year-old daughter, who is super supportive but also going through a lot watching her mother sick. I am hoping to make her Christmas special this year. As she has had to suffer through all of this as well, especially for the month we weren't getting answers at the hospital. This has been a hard year physically, mentally, and emotionally for my family.
