Hello Everyone, 

My name is Jermaine Wade Jr. I’m a current student at Minneapolis Community Technical College (MCTC), majoring in Sound Arts, Entrepreneurship and Liberal Arts to continue my education in the future. As some of you may know, for the past two years, I have played the double seconds for the Community Steel Pan Band called "The PanAtics." in Minneapolis. Recently, I was given one of the biggest opportunities in the steel pan culture: playing in the New York Panorama. The New York Panorama is the 2nd biggest steel pan competition in the world. Being a College Student is demanding, in addition to dedicating my time to the band and the community center. I am asking for help to fund one of my biggest dreams and go to New York and compete in Panorama! I will be there for 5 days practicing and competing in the band called Philadelphia Pan Stars. I'm looking to raise about $1,700 for plane tickets, travel, transportation of pans, food, and housing for the week.
