I’m Constance.

Music has kind of always been my thing… not in a cool “look at me” way, more like… it’s how I deal with life. When I don’t know what to say, I play. When I’m stressed, I play. When I’m happy, I play. It’s just always been there.

I started saxophone over 10 years ago with a rented school one that honestly felt like it was held together by hope But I fell in love with it straight away. Since then I’ve played a few different student/intermediate saxes, done loads of practice hours, played in bands, orchestras, jazz stuff, little gigs here and there… all of it. And I’ve learned a lot, but I’ve also been stuck at times because my instrument just couldn’t really do what I wanted.

Lately I’ve realised I’m kind of… outgrowing my current sax. Like I can hear the sound I want in my head, but I can’t get it out properly. And I’ve been wanting to record more, play more seriously, and just actually move forward with this. So yeah… I think it’s time for a real professional saxophone.

The one I’ve fallen in love with is the Yamaha YTS-875EX Custom.

I tried it and it felt so different… like instantly. It responded properly, the sound was warm but still powerful, everything felt smoother, easier… it honestly felt like “oh wow, this is what it’s supposed to feel like.” I don’t even know how to explain it without sounding dramatic, but it just felt right.

So yeah. I’m trying to make this happen.
