Shyeshia is a resilient single mother of five who has tirelessly balanced her responsibilities, not only caring for her children but also assisting her elderly parents. For over a decade, she has worked as a truck driver and owner-operator, unfortunately without the benefit of medical insurance. 

Her life took a dramatic turn in January 2024 when she was involved in a major accident that left her with severe injuries, including broken legs, ankles, back bone and major bone of the leg.

Since then, Shyeshia has undergone numerous surgeries and continues to battle infections that have led her doctors to consider the possibility of amputating one of her legs.

This GoFundMe campaign has been set up to support Shyeshia through her challenging journey. She has been hospitalized for more than two months and is currently in physical therapy, striving to regain some semblance of normalcy. 

The funds raised will be crucial in helping her cover medical expenses, secure wheelchair assistance, and manage daily living costs as she navigates this difficult period.
