bject: Urgent: Save Our Home & Keep Our Mission Alive
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
We are writing to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for your support.
Frank and I poured our hearts and souls, and every penny we had, into starting a sober living program for women and children in Bluefield, WV. We purchased a beautiful home with the intention of creating a safe and supportive environment for those in need. Unfortunately, we made a mistake – the City of Bluefield has restrictions that prevent us from operating this program in our chosen neighborhood.
This setback has been devastating. We've been working tirelessly to sell the home, but the holiday season is notoriously slow for real estate. We are facing the very real threat of foreclosure on both our home and our vehicles, leaving us with no stability and no way to continue our dream.
We are both older adults who have worked diligently our entire lives. Finding stable employment in this area has been extremely challenging. Frank is drawing his retirement, and I am working hard to launch my own small soap-making business, but it's not enough to cover our mounting expenses.
We are not asking for handouts. We are asking for a lifeline – a little more time to sell our home and get back on our feet. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring us closer to securing our future and potentially saving our dream of helping others.
We understand that everyone is facing their own challenges, and we are incredibly grateful for any support you can offer.
With sincere gratitude,
Imogean Harlan and Frank Lannutti
