I’m Jakaliah, and I’m starting this fundraiser for myself and my baby. I have never really had a stable home to call my own, and for a long time I have been trying to get my first apartment. Now that I have a newborn, this need has become even more urgent. More than anything, I want to give my baby a safe, stable place to live and the kind of start every child deserves. This is not easy for me to ask, but I am doing everything I can to build a better future for us. 

The support from this fundraiser will help me with the costs of getting my apartment, keeping up with utilities, and buying the essential things my baby needs until I am able to start working. Right now, I am just trying to get on my feet and be the mom I am trying so hard to be.
