On January 15th, 2026, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. My beloved aunt, Lorrie Dunlap, and her angelic son, Brandon Dunlap, were found deceased in their trailer. Brandon, who lived with Down syndrome and was highly autistic, brought so much light and love to our lives. Their passing was completely unexpected, and our hearts are broken as we try to come to terms with saying goodbye to not just one, but two cherished souls.
Lorrie was a devoted mother who cared deeply for Brandon, and together they faced life’s challenges with courage and grace. Sadly, neither Lorrie nor Brandon had a life insurance policy, leaving our family with the difficult task of arranging their funerals and honoring their memories without the financial support we desperately need. All responsibilities and arrangements have fallen to Lorrie’s only surviving son, Michael Dunlap, who is now navigating this tragedy on his own.
We are reaching out to our community for prayers, love, and any donations that could help us through this heartbreaking time. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward funeral expenses and supporting Michael as he faces the days ahead. Your kindness and generosity will mean the world to our family as we honor Lorrie and Brandon’s lives and say our final goodbyes.
