This fundraiser is to help my dear friend Jen & her sweet daughter Luna. This is her story:

In August of last year I had been struggling for months with being able to keep up with my job because of my complex information processing disorder, traumatic brain injury, and seizures. The company let me know they were going to have to let me go and recommended I resign instead. They then denied my unemployment which is pending an appeal. I've worked with my neurologist and DSS since then who told me they wanted me to apply for disability. Disability is pending, I've applied for part time work, and reached out to every resource in and out of our county. It's been a very difficult time my daughter and I, as we also haven't had a vehicle since September. I've searched for a new place for months and am on every waiting list which are 6 months to a year long with no luck. We now have to be out of our apartment on February 17th and I've exhausted all options with no where to go. I have an organization willing to help but it will take over a month and we are just out of time. I'm not writing this for sympathy, but simply reaching out for help. My hope is that we can find a place to live in this cold weather and transportation until we get back on our feet. Anything helps right now and we would be forever grateful for your support.
