My name is Shembria, I have been homeless for over three years. I sleep in my car that is now on the verge of repossession. I am and have been trying to get myself out of debt from things that happened with a spouse that Cheated and left me with everything to deal with alone. I have family that will not help me even if they could. I have been everywhere and I cannot get the help that I need. I struggle with mental health issues I have been hospitalized for attempting to take my life. Still no help . I recently reached out for help from family only to find out that the person I reached out to had been receiving benefits in my name and didn’t even mention it. This person knew I was sleeping in my vehicle there were times I did go hungry because I needed money to put gas in my car to go to work, pay my car insurance and pay for a storage that has pictures of our deceased mom because before she could be buried they went into her apart and took everything all I got was her pictures. I am losing my car/ home and my storage and again not one helping hand from my”family”. I am not looking for a hand out just a hand up until I get back to working and I will give back the funds that were given to me.  I just need help.
