So I am trying to raise money for housing. I moved to Florida to get a 47 year old gentleman on a kidney transplant list due to having stage 4/5 kidney failure. my 10 year old daughter the gentleman and myself have been living in an extended stay for the last month. I work nights at Disney and in the works to start a second job ( working 16 hrs days ). I was talking to someone who had a house that wanted to rent out to someone in need, so of course I jumped at the chance. Put the deposit everything was set to go, had the lease in hand and then spent all day waiting for a key that I would never be in possession of. It was a scam they preyed on me because of my need to keep a roof over our heads. The only step I have is to find a shelter that will accept all three of us. Most shelters won’t take men. I filed a police report but I’ll never see my money again.

So this is the reason I’m trying to raise money so we don’t wind up living in my car.
