As a medical student, I am passionate about helping people heal and feel their best, no matter where in the world they are. Along with my two brothers, I am preparing for a humanitarian trip to Peru where we will work together to make a meaningful impact. Our mission is to help educate local healthcare providers on the use of ultrasound, see upwards of 600 patients, and offer additional training to providers in the area. We believe that by sharing our knowledge and skills, we can help improve the quality of care for many people in need.

This trip is not only an opportunity to serve, but also a chance for personal growth. I will be able to learn more about another community, practice seeing my own patients, and learn alongside experienced physicians. My brothers will be able to translate and practice their Spanish, all while serving a new community and gaining valuable life experience. We are excited to work together, learn from those we meet, and do our part to make a difference.
