In December 2023 our family's life changed. My husband was diagnosed with throat cancer. Our then 11 year old who has ADHD and is autistic went to work finding out everything he could on throat cancer. I fought for over 2 weeks to get the doctors to get started treating him. Finally in January the treatment started. They had to do a trache on him and give him a feeding tube. Both of our children were so scared they refused to go to school so I had to put them in virtual school. He did 7 weeks Monday through Friday radiation and 3 chemo treatments he made it to remission. Our kids were finally going back to themselves they even went back to school in August 2024. However, his remission did not last 2 weeks. He ended up back in the hospital. The kids got scared again and I had to put them back in virtual school so they could go to the hospital to be with their dad. Then the news came that he was not getting better it had spread to his brain, his lungs and so many other places. He could not even respond to us anymore. That was the hardest thing I ever had to hear but was even harder to tell our children. October 16, 2025 I left the hospital to get food and go get a shower but while I was gone my husband passed away. I had to set up a payment plan at a funeral home to have his funeral. I have been paying 200.00 a month since December 2024. The payments are getting hard on us to get by. I wish everyday he was still here we miss him so much. I decided to see if I could get help to pay the funeral home. I still owe close to 2000.00
