To start the story you have to know the last 2 years. My husband was told here had prostate cancer. He survived that. 1 year later he was told he had liver cancer and 2 weeks later he passed away. 1 year later our landlord send eviction paperwork but stated that it was his attorney that told him to do it. All the paperwork had the wrong last name and his widow suffered a lot. After 35 years together she lost the love of her life. Landlord told her that the insurance company need her to vacate the home. She was given till the end of July. On July 5th the AC went out on her. When she told the landlord about it, she was told he would get someone out to look at it. The AC guy told landlord that it was electrical. Landlord informed her that he wasn't going to fix it until after she moved out. She even called an AC company and want them to come out and fix it at her own cost. When landlord found out he called company and told them no to come out as it was under warranty. 30 year old AC unit!!!!!! While trying to box everything up Dawn had a heat stroke and went to er. Landlord told her that he would put everything out in garage and I could go pick it up then. On July 15th he had the maintenance man change the locks. Then said he didn't change them until September 5,2026. He also told her that she owed him 4000.00 for unpaid rent and storage of all of her belongings. Her sleep number bed that insurance helped her get, her husband's urn, military flag, dog tags, wedding ring. Everything that they worked for. Antique guns,family China and China cabinet, 3 TV's and all he normal stuff a home has. His motorcycle jackets. Then he sold all of the items at an auction on September 11h,2026. Landlord to be that it was all his to sell after 30 days. She was recovering from a heat stroke. Now she is having stress seizures from everything he has put her through. She has been staying with a friend but, she is trying to get a place of her own. Even if she gets a place, she has nothing. Not even clothes. Winter is coming and she only has summer clothing. She is on a fixed income because she is disabled and can't work. She is fighting the landlord but it's going to take a while for the courts. She barely has enough to get a place of her own. Low income apts are hard to find!!! Please help her get back on her feet. After the last year she has lost a lot. She really could use the help. Some days its hard for her to want to go on, but she is struggling everyday. She will make it in time. If can't help her then please pass this on to see if she can get restarted in this late time in her life!!!
