Celebrating the Life of Floyd Dean — Join Us in Honoring His Legacy
Floyd Dean (April 27, 1951 – March 3, 2026) lived a life full of humor, heart, and generosity—and those who knew him will always remember the joy he brought into every room.
Floyd was the kind of person who showed up for others. Whether he was volunteering in the church sound booth, sharing his love of music, or cracking one of his signature “dad jokes,” he had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and at ease. He was a devoted husband to Susan, a proud father to Elizabeth and Kimberlea, and a loving grandfather to Fionnuala, Forrest, and Bobby. His family was his greatest joy.
Even during his courageous battle with ALS, Floyd’s strength, humor, and kindness never faded. He continued to inspire those around him with his resilience and the way he appreciated life’s simple moments—especially time spent with family, good music, and a little video gaming.
To honor Floyd’s incredible spirit and the impact he had on so many lives, we are coming together to support his family during this time and to celebrate a life so well lived. The unexpected funeral expenses and hospital bills have become overwhelming, and any support will help ease this burden.
This fundraiser is a way to celebrate Floyd—not just by remembering him, but by continuing the kindness and generosity he lived by every day.
If Floyd ever made you smile, laugh, or feel supported, we invite you to be part of this tribute. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help us honor his legacy.
Let’s carry forward Floyd’s legacy of laughter, love, and giving.
