Why We Are Fundraising

We are raising funds in loving memory of Jennifer Ann Hall, a daughter, sister, nurse, animal lover, and proud Buckeye whose compassion touched every life around her. Jennifer dedicated her career to caring for others as a CCU/ICU nurse, and she carried that same gentle strength into her love for animals and her community.

This fundraiser supports the mission of the Columbus Humans Essential Care Center, located at:

Our center provides essential care, emergency support, and dignity‑centered services to individuals and families in need. Jennifer believed deeply in helping people who had no one else to advocate for them, and this fundraiser continues that legacy.

Because Jennifer’s heart was always open to animals, a portion of all funds raised will be donated to the Columbus Humane Center in her honor. Her lifelong love for animals will continue through this contribution, helping protect and care for the animals she adored so much.

To honor her Buckeye pride, we are also dedicating part of the funds to purchase a memorial brick at The Ohio State University. Jennifer cherished her education and the community she found at OSU, and this brick will serve as a permanent tribute to her love of learning and her Buckeye spirit.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that contributions be made toward Jennifer’s Ohio State memorial brick and the Columbus Humane Center. Your generosity helps carry forward the kindness, compassion, and love she shared so freely.
