Hello everyone. This whole fundraiser is for my father's funeral arrangements including the transportation needed to get me there as I'm currently not in the USA right now. 

My dad, Geffrey Mortin, passed away on Friday September 30th, 2024. I'll remember him well as he was a hardworking, hands-on man that enjoyed taking all of us to the beach, playground, thrift store and much more. He was really carefree and taught us all how to be in the moment and go after what you really want - never letting anyone hold you back. 

This would mean the world to me as we were separated due to me moving and his sudden death just makes me want to all the more do good in his name but also reconnect with family members that are there and not live on the assumption we ‘will always have time’. 

If you're moved to donated I plan to use $1,000 to help myself get there including plane tickets, travel to / travel from the airport, travel to funeral home, accommodation and therapy if there's anything left over. For the other $9,000 I plan to share that with the family members that paid for his funeral service OR also ask my sister (next of kin) and mom about what would honor him the best with it.
