I am in need of some help

Recently I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in September of 2024. I went on a treatment plan in hopes to allow my body to heal and become self sufficient again in producing insulin.

Unfortunately, I had many scares with dangerous highs and lows. After a year of following the treatment plan, I became uncontrollable and experienced very dangerous diabetic episodes.

I was sent to an Endocrinologist and that’s when I was given the news that I have Type 1 Diabetes. With my family history I know what the outcome is going to be. It’s not what anyone wants to hear or fear, although that has become a harsh reality for myself.

With the new diagnosis my Health Insurance does not cover a insulin pump that is required for me to sustain a balanced insulin level due to having to administer up to 80 units in a single day and sometimes over 100 units in a day I will need a insulin pump that is capable up that of administering that to keep me alive.

As a father of 5 to Brayden, Caleigh, Bradley, Jaxon, and Kinsley. I want to be around to see them grown into adults and build their little families. In order for me to be able to be here to see all those great things happen in life. I am left with this last option and that is to reach out for help. I hate to ask for help myself but this is for my kids that mean everything to me.
