My name is Janyce Nakaishi and I am the mother of Jake Streno. He is 16 and going through a very life changing situation. After recently undergoing a CT scan of the heart, we were notified that the results were serious and that heart surgery was needed. We now await the surgery date which due to the severity of the situation has been priority set for January 8th were Dr Frank Hanley, at Stanford Medicine Children's Health- Heart Center, will perform a coronary artery anomaly repair, which is a repair and relocation of the left coronary artery with cardiopulmonary bypass. Due to the surgery being so sudden without any options to save or plan and my truck being completely broke down, this creates the stress of not being able to meet certain needs.So I am asking for any help possible to raise the money needed to get through this hurdle as I myself have just underwent surgery that has me unable to do much as I am going through recovery. This surgery is life threatening and my son will need me there right by his side every step of the way. The funds raised will be going towards any gas , lodging,  and food that’s needed during the trip for the pre op appointments and surgery and for the post op appointments also set in Palo Alto to ensure fluid doesn’t build around the heart and that everything heals properly. Every donation made, no matter the amount, helps relieve financial stress and allows us to focus entirely on what matters most - Jake's health and recovery.
