This fundraiser will benefit Jose’ the Rooster. I was alerted to an injured abandoned rooster in York City. We were able to easily catch him with some cracked corn and patience. When I picked him up I noticed string was tied around his wimh where it meets his body and the wing is clearly lame. His toenails (?) where extremely extremely long. I’m imagining he was used for some sort of fighting- who knows. I clipped his nails but his wing drags and he walks kind of crooked. I would like to take him to the vet but a Rooster vet bill was not in my plans :) if you want to help Jose’ out any donations would be welcome. Any  left over will go towards cracked corn, bed shavings ect. I do not have an appt yet since it is the weekend.
