About this fundraiser

I am Julian's wife and his caregiver before he went home to be with the Lord. Julian was disabled from a spinal cord injury and the doctors told him he would not e er walk again, but he did. He was a loving husband with nothing, but loyalty to his family and friends. He would always have a smile on his face even when we got scammed out of a down payment on a home that caused us to become homeless for over 2 years. November 8th,2025 we moved into a rental home that an organization put us in through rapid rehousing. In June he was put into hospice, but he did not want to die in the hospital he wanted to die at home with our dog and me, so I granted his last wishes and allowed him to stay at home and I became his caregiver with a nurse coming one a week for a visit. He fought a hard battle he was dying of the final stages of congestive heart failure and Monday November 17th, 2925 he lost his battle. I do not work because I had to be home to care for him and I would do over a thousand times no matter if I had to do it on the streets. He would talk with the nurse and chaplain and all he wanted was to have our dog and me in a decent home to live in that was his main goal and he said he was not going to die until he done this for us. He kept his promise and at least I know he died happy knowing he accomplished getting us a home. He was a kind, loving, and caring person that could make you smile even if you was having a bad day. He enjoyed racing cars and fishing and spending time with me and our furbaby. Growler is just as sad as I am that he left us behind, but at least he is no longer suffering. I will not get his disability check in December and there is no way I can afford to have him even cremated, but he deserves to at least be cremated and put into a urn so we can have him close to us. Please if you find it in your heart to donate so Julian can at least have dignity as he wanted. If you do not want to give the money to me you can give it to Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory under Julian Weldon Mills Jr. in Anderson, South Carolina. I WOULD LOVE HIS ASHES HOME WITH US, PLEASE HELP IF NOTHING BUT $5 ANYTHING WILL HELP. THANK YOU
