I was recently laid off after more than 27 years in the IT industry.  I have a Son in college at NC State, a Wife who is the primary caregiver for her elder mother, and a Daughter who is extremely dedicated to building a future in veterinary medicine/animal care.  However, I find myself at a crossroads.  I've been submitting resumes for months but the young folk undercut me nearly every time.  I feel defeated and inept.  Like a failure.  This is not me!  Give up, I will not.  However, I need help.  There.  I said it.  I need to keep my home.  I need to provide food and fuel.  If you have the ability to help, I'm so thankful.  If you don't have the ability to help financially, I would be very appreciative if you would at least, share with your followers.  I still can't believe this happened to me.
