Aloha! This is Kapono “Pono” Lindsey. Pono had recently celebrated his 28th birthday on Dec. 29. 2023. No one knew it at the time that it would be the last birthday he celebrated. Kapono had passed away in the night of February 1, 2024. He leaves behind a precious daughter. Pono is the second oldest of 8 siblings and has three older half sisters. Kapono was born with a heart condition that put him thru multiple major surgeries; his last  procedure to replace his pace maker was in 2023. His recent arrival at the ER for a thumb injury resulted in a diagnosis of stage 4 liver cancer! What happened to stage 1, 2 and 3? Every day up to his last; Kapono was a warrior; a soul of purity and love. Today his entire family are at a great loss and need help with memorial costs. Kapono expressed his final wishes upon his departure and his family wants to honor his wishes; but can't do so without monetary help.
