It is with much sorrow that we share news of Katie Blair Sims’ passing on April 3, 2024.

Katie was known to many as a kind spirit, a caring heart, a joy to be around and a faithful servant of the Lord. Her health had been declining for some time, but her passing just wasn’t expected this soon. We do, however, rejoice in knowing that Katie was ready to meet her Lord and Savior.

Everyone can agree that nothing fully prepares us for the passing of a loved one. Unfortunately, Katie’s transition has placed a burden both emotionally and financially on her only daughter, Kai, mother to her only grandson, Kaidon. Katie did not have any insurance policies in place to cover funeral or memorial expenses.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that a contribution of any amount be given to assist Katie’s family with necessary preparations. Any and all proceeds will help cover the costs of Katie’s funeral arrangements.
