It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the sudden passing of our beloved brother, devoted father, loving son, amazing teacher, inspiring coach and wonderful friend Ken Christenson. He leaves behind his lovingly adopted young children Lillie (10) and Caleb (7) and his adult sons Christian and Sean. This tragic loss has left the family facing not only overwhelming grief but also mounting financial struggles during an incredibly difficult time. 

With his unexpected passing, Ken’s children are now left with the emotional and financial burden of navigating life without him. His son, Caleb, requires ongoing medical treatment and both children are special needs requiring specific attention and extra care. The family’s immediate needs include living expenses and educational expenses for the children as they navigate this heartbreaking chapter. 

Ken dedicated his life to motivating and serving others. He was a leader and mentor in retail management for the first half of his career and worked as a special needs teacher for fifteen years. Beginning in 2012, Ken organized the Hoopstars Baskeball League and provided opportunities for special needs children and young adults to play basketball in a team environment.  He was the kind of person that would give his last five dollars and the coat off his back to anyone in need. 

We are asking for your support to help ease the financial burden his family now faces, allowing us to focus on healing and supporting the children. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to Caleb and Lillie’s care to help cover bills, living expenses, and educational costs.
