Hi, my name is Jason and I’m reaching out because I need urgent help covering the cost of a surgery that I simply can’t afford on my own.

I’ve been battling chronic kidney stones since 2008. Over the years, I’ve passed multiple stones and undergone three lithotripsy surgeries. It’s been painful, but nothing compares to what I’m going through now. The current stone is the most severe I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been immobilized by pain, unable to move from my bed at times, and I’m dealing with symptoms that are starting to scare me. I know that if I don’t get surgery soon, I could face serious complications like kidney damage or infection.

I’m currently working full-time at a startup I believe in deeply—but because we’re early stage, I don’t yet have a full salary or health insurance. The cost of care in the U.S. is incredibly high, and I’ve reached a point where I can’t delay any longer. The surgery and related medical expenses are expected to cost around $12,000, and I simply don’t have the means to cover that right now. I may have to put it on a credit card just to stay alive—but that’s not sustainable, and I’m asking for your support so I don’t have to take on this alone.
