Hello my name is Shaelynn Sharp, I am a 45 year old woman who is reaching out for help. I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, Kidney Disease Stage 2 as well as Type 2 Diabetes. I am currently under the care of both a psychiatrist and a psychologist to help mentally cope with everything as I am currently homeless with a pending disability case. I was attending university online, however, psychiatrist has increased my dosage of medication and taken me out of university until I am mentally capable of completing my courses successfully. Now without financial aid I have nothing to survive on. I am not an addict, I've worked my entire life and have always been a productive member of society. I have been fighting with disability for a few years as my health continues to deteriorate. I visit my doctors as I m supposed to and take all meds daily. I tried living in a shelter only to have my things stolen, I am not a lazy dead beat with my hand out, I am just asking for help so that I can rest my body and mind as can't physically or mentally handle looking for a comfortable place to sleep every night. I honestly just want to rest. My medications are strong so I am tired all the time and I would just like the help to be in a safe place where I can sleep and eat comfortably. I've been couch surfing with the same three friends but they too have their own families and are unable to support me.
