Lola’s Fight for Her Life

On July 17th, our sweet Lola got loose and ingested a significant amount of rat poison. Since July 18th, she has been in the ICU, fighting for her life. The poison caused severe brain swelling, leaving her with minimal movement.

She’s currently receiving exceptional care at Central Hospital in North Haven. Today (July 22), we saw a glimmer of hope — small signs of improvement that we're clinging to.

Unfortunately, we’ve already maxed out our pet insurance and CareCredit, but we’re not ready to give up. We just need more time to see if Lola can continue to improve.
