About this fundraiser

Hi, my name is Danielle Cobb (Boyd.)

Back story: Approximately 3 weeks ago, my Husband Corey and I, as well as our 3 cats, unexpectedly became homeless. We had no other option, at the time, than to live in the back of his Ford Explorer, when out of the blue, we stumbled across an angel, sent straight from God himself, I believe. The gentleman known as the angel I just referred to, offered my husband a job, (my husband is a very hard working man, who does all kinds of odd jobs, all the time, but was in strong pursuit of a full time job. He had just one limitation, which was nothing serious, but this gentleman didn’t let that hold him back, he saw a man who was trying, above all things, and gave him a chance.) He even provided us a camper to live in temporarily until we were able to stabilize ourselves. We had the pleasure of staying there all of 3 nights, with our babies (3 cats and even the boss man’s little elderly dog, as well) when unfortunately (the night of August 15th) a fire started due to an electrical issue, and immediately the camper was engulfed in flames after a sudden explosion. He and I (my Husband) had went out to pick up a few things, such as necessities, and had been gone for no more than 2 hours, when we received a call that the place that we were currently staying at (the camper pictured) had exploded, and was on fire. We lost EVERYTHING. Including 3 of the 4 animals that were inside, (1 cat managed to somehow put herself in a place inside where she was unharmed, assumingly in the duct work, and was found the next day.) Our hearts are severely broken, but we are finding strength to carry on. Unfortunately, due to the camper being right next to the boss man’s house, his home also caught on fire, and sustained some major damage as well. Him and my Husband have been working everyday, to try to do what they can to repair the house, since it is somewhat salvageable. The camper was a complete loss. We are beyond blessed that we are all alive today, (boss man and his fiancé included) but we all took a tremendous loss and all are now homeless, at this time. (the 4 people mentioned, my cat, and 1 of boss man’s dogs, who lived inside his home, who was able to escape.) We are all trying our very best to recover from this tragedy, but things simply aren’t as easy as I wish they could be. With that being said, If anyone is willing/able to help, we promise those that it will be greatly appreciated above all things, and when we have the means, to reimburse those who do, or even pay it forward for others in needs, we will do so. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and more so for anything that you can spare to help us, whether a donation, or simply just for your time and/or sympathy. We understand not everyone will be able to donate, but if nothing else please share this link, in any place that you can, to get the word out. We need all the help we can get at this time. Please and Thank you, so very much. Also, if you prefer to donate privately, feel free to use cash app to do so. My cash tag is: $Dmr121593 Once again, thank you in advance.
