Our dog Luna (German Shepherd, 9 years old) has a mass growing on her right shoulder. Wife rescued her from Walmart parking lot where an individual had tied her up into a Walmart bag and was going to throw her into the river. Since then she was taken on the role of protector of the house.

We did receive an update as of 4/16/26: NO CANCER CELLS DETECTED! However, there is too much inflammation on the shoulder/mass to see what is causing the issue so they are wanting to do a CT Scan to get a closer look.

We need help with vet bills and improving her quality of life while we wait on test results to figure out exactly what is going on and how to best help her with her condition. We are looking at possible amputation of the leg, with the worst-case scenario being cancer and needing chemotherapy. Any additional money not used for Luna will go towards another animal in need.
