Kylie Meyer has always held onto her dream of becoming a mother, despite the hurdles life has thrown her way. After undergoing a challenging hysterectomy in 2020, she faced the heartbreaking realization that natural conception was no longer a possibility. However, her determination to nurture and love a child never wavered.

Now, she is starting a new chapter of hope through private domestic adoption. Recently, her home study was approved, marking an important milestone on her journey!  The last step is waiting for the birth parents to choose her. 
 

Navigating the financial aspects of adoption has been daunting, with agency fees reaching up to $40,000.  Kylie is seeking grants and following advice from experienced adoptive families to make her adoption journey as smooth and debt-free as possible.

After careful consideration (and, yes, some begging from family) she has allowed us to share her story and launch a fundraiser to help cover adoption costs. Despite the vulnerability she feels in opening up about such a personal journey, she is full of gratitude for the outpouring of support, positive thoughts, and encouragement from friends and family  

We are all so excited to welcome a baby into our large Meyer family! The future baby will be such a lucky child to have the most amazing mom and extended family! He or she will be so loved!
